There are also a great deal of events taking place around the city in the month of June we didn’t organize, but are connected to CAKE. Here are the events taking place between now and CAKE, some planned by us, some planned by others.

Mini-Comic Release Party Busy Beaver Button Co. & CAKE worked with comics artists, Lale Westvind and Carrie Vinarsky, to each create a 500-piece edition of a 6-8-page comic with a button pinned onto the inside back page. A circle die cut through the center of each comic allows the button to interact with each page. Anything That Loves Bisexual Comic Book Event The Bisexual Queer Alliance Chicago and Chicago Bisexual Queer Meetup are hosting a comic book event on June 15 at The Center on Halsted to coincide with the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo (CAKE).
