CAKE 2016 Special Guest Announcement: Laura Park!

CAKE is excited to announce our next special guest for 2016: Laura Park!donotdisturb_1Laura Park is a cartoonist and illustrator who lives in Chicago. Her work has appeared in the Best American Comics, Anthology of Graphic Fiction, Vice magazine, and She is the illustrator for two middle-grade kids' book series written by James Patterson, Middle School and I Funny, both of which have been number one New York Times bestsellers. Her book Do Not Disturb My Waking Dream will be published by Drawn & Quarterly in 2016. She is a member of the jam comics collective Trubble Club, and she created the poster art for the first annual CAKE in 2012.
