We’re so excited to announce our CAKE 2020 Poster artist, David Alvarado!

David Alvarado is a cartoonist and illustrator from Chicago IL. A graduate from Columbia College Chicago he has been self publishing comics since 2012. Apart from self publishing his own work he has contributed to publications like Lumpen, Newcity, and Time Out Chicago. 

When David is not working on various projects he enjoys eating ice cream, petting dogs, and warm summer nights.

David has illustrated a gorgeous poster representative of all of us weirdos in Chicago!
